Really Soft....And Bigger, April 10, 2011 By This review is from: Carter's Butterfly Flowers 4 Piece Receiving Blanket, Pink/Choc, 30 X 40" (Baby Product) This 4 pack of Carter receiving blankets are the best and softest I have ever felt. I admittedly don't know a lot about babies and the vast array of necessities they need. But I do know something about receiving blankets. Truthfully there isn't a whole lot to know but how soft they are, the size, and how they hold up under the constant washes that they will need. We had some cheaper ones that we had bought in a local store that did the trick and were ok, but after getting a pack of these we could really feel the difference. At 30 by 40, they are quite a bit bigger than your average blanket, and that is really a help with a messy baby. Also, these blankets are a better quality and softer material than any others we have used in the past. ( A lack of real softness is the most common complaint I have seen mentioned in cheaper blankets). These are really soft. Finally, these blankets get washed a lot as you can imagine. I also like that the size of these are a little bigger than the basic ones, so we will be able to use these a little longer.

They are big and so so soft. My baby is due any week now, so I haven't had a chance to try them (I've washed them though), but I already ordered another set because I love them and I'm sure my baby will love them too.
